In 2015, HMK managed the St. Paul School District $5.27M bond program.

The program included locker-room improvements at the high school, a new gymnasium, which included team rooms, restrooms and a classroom, and seismic upgrades, new roof, windows and renovations to the restroom and office at the Elementary School. After the Elementary School project was designed, the District received a seismic rehabilitation grant to upgrade the school. We developed a strategy to incorporate the seismic design with the existing design and bid as a single project. This strategy allowed the District to stretch project budgets through economies of scale increasing the Bond scope of work. Despite many challenges, the program was completed under budget and added additional scope to the bond program.
